An overview of NASA's Environmentally Responsible Aviation (ERA) Project will be given. Goals of the project will be described connecting the project to the National Plan for Aeronautics Research, and describing how the project will favorably impact community noise, local air quality, and carbon emissions concerns . Recent results from several high profile wind tunnel test campaigns will be described.
